 Group of Thermal Turbomachinery GTT

Welcome to the Group of Thermal Turbomachinery

The Group of Thermal Turbomachinery (former Laboratoire de Thermique appliquée et de Turbomachines) is a research and teaching scientific group within the School of Engineering (STI) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The work carried out by GTT is focused on the computation and experimental investigation of steady and unsteady flow in thermal turbomachinery, including heat transfer phenomena and plasma. Reliable test facilities and advanced measuring techniques allow for testing in the sub-, trans and supersonic flow domain.
